Hopefully you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Maybe you even used some of our suggestions on appropriate manners a la the turkeyfish. But the holiday season is just beginning, so mark you calendars and RSVP for the following events for our active volunteers.
If you have not RSVP'd for Movie Night and Christmas Card Making next week Friday, best do so quickly - there are only 20 - 24 spots in the card making portion and it was at least half filled last I checked.
Next up is the HIMB staff and volunteer Holiday Party the Friday after that. Any volunteer or intern who led tours or worked on a project for us in 2012 is invited. This will be on Friday, Dec. 14th. Again, be sure to RSVP. If you do not have the details, email me - we want to make a good showing! Cost for staff is $35, but volunteers are free - and you may bring a guest. If you want to enter the baking or talent contests - even better!
