I was just connected with Jeff Lansdown who’s looking for some volunteers to assist with an upcoming keiki fishing tournament near Waikiki. The event is cosponsored by the Hawaii Yacht Club and the Waikiki Yacht Club; boaters from both clubs host children ages three to fifteen for a morning of fishing followed by an afternoon of swimming, games, and food. They’re anticipating as many as 150+ kids from Palama Settlement, Hale Kipa, HPD’s PAL program, and yacht club members’ children will participate.Approximately 6:30am-Noon (you’re welcome to stay later)Parking at Magic Island / Waikiki Yacht Club with shuttle boat to Hawaii Yacht Club for volunteer check-in / registration. Event wraps-up with a BBQ at Waikiki Yacht Club
