Volunteer Opportunity - Marine Life ID Classes

Aloha Volunteers - here is a great opportunity to lean your marine life better. Let me know if you are interested and I will get a list together for my colleague Jeff.

QUEST ID classes start on Sept 13 and run for 3 wks on Mondays and Wednesdays. We’ll cover the most common reef organisms of the Main Hawaiian Islands. The intent of this class is to quickly teach students to identify these organisms – not too much physiology or behavior will be covered.

9/13&15: Fishes

9/20&22: Inverts

9/27&29: Limu

$5/organism group or $10 for all three. Classes will be held in Dean Hall #6 (bottom floor) 6-9pm.

Your organizations are welcome to send people for training, however, we need to know how many you intend to send so that we can make the proper arrangements. We’ll be offering this again in the spring.
