Thinking about Education
It is useful to think a bit about what we are doing as we educate folks. Which is, of course what we are trying to accomplish through our tours.
Of course we are all experts already as far as education goes. We have all been through the education system after all. And we can certainly at least complain and offer helpful advice to others (as the public, elected officials, and so many others do for teachers - especially when talking about public education).
Of course whether everyone is an "expert" may or may not be true. I had my appendix out, but I am not sure I have a lot to say to the surgeon, other than to complain (he did a poor job) Still ... I digress.
Take a look at this very entertaining and short video from Sir Ken Robinson.
See: Changing Education at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDZFcDGpL4U It will get your mind working, perhaps in a positive way on how we educate.
