Hanauma Bay this Thursday

Aloha Thursday Evening Patrons,
On Thursday evening April 1st, the UH Sea Grant Hanauma Bay Education Program continues its public outreach series at the City and County of Honolulu’s Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve. The month of April will focus on conservation in recognition of Earth Day. Come to Hanauma Bay every Thursday evening to learn about; restoring and protecting Hawai`i’s offshore islets, caring for Paiko lagoon, the Eyes of the Reef Program and more!

Thursday March 18,
“Restoring and Protecting Hawai`i’s Offshore Islets” by Jaap Eijzenga, Offshore Seabird Sanctuaries, Hawai`i Division of Aquatic Resources and the Division of Forestry and Wildlife

As always, these events begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening in the theater at the Hanauma Bay Education Center. Events are free and open to the public, with no charge for parking after 5:30 p.m. We hope to see you on Thursday evening! These programs are supported and funded by the City and County of Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation.
